Loredano Rosin 1936-1991 FIGURE OF A LADY Glass, 18 1/2'' x 6'' (excl. base 2 1/4'' x 7 1/4'') (47 x 15cm), signed Loredano Rosin came from Murano, an Italian island with a long standing heritage in the artisan tradition. He has earned a degree of international acclaim as both artist and master glass blower, enjoying both solo and group exhibitions in Europe, Japan and North America. His success is perhaps most prominent in North America where his work features in such prestigious institutions as teh Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Museum of Modern Art New in York, Museum of Art New Orleans and the Museum of Art Philadelphia. He is also part of the permanent collection of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
