Denis Kelly is an Irish artist who makes abstract paintings characterised by hard edge colour motifs, predominantly painted flat on wooden surfaces.
Selected exhibitions include: Hidden UK, Hidden Ireland curated by Sean Scully, Flowers Gallery, London (2022); 'Look, then Look Again', RHA Ashford Gallery, Dublin (2021); 'A Sense of Order, A Sense of Disorder', Galeria Weber & Weber, Turin, Italy (2018); 'Impeccable Defect' Pallas Projects, Dublin (2017); RHA Annual Exhibitions (2018 - 2022).
He has received awards though the Art Council and Kildare County Council for his art practice where some of his paintings are part of the Office of Public Works Collection, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Collection and private collections in Ireland, UK, Germany and USA.
