St George Hare RI ROI, 1857-1933 COASTAL SCENE, WATERFORD Watercolour, 7'' x 9 1/2'' (18 x 24cm), signed Provenance: Gorry Gallery, Dublin Born in Limerick where Hare studied under Nicholas Brophy. He then went to London to further his studies and was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy. In 1891 he founded The Chelsea Arts Club. His work is included in The National Gallery of Ireland, The Victoria & Albert Museum and The National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne. He exhibited 27 works at The RHA in Dublin between 1881 and 1916
