Lot 145 - MOUNTAIN HARE by Vadim Tuzov Lot 145 Vadim Tuzov MOUNTAIN HARE
Estimate: €1,000 - €1,500
Vadim Tuzov, Contemporary MOUNTAIN HARE Bronze, 6" x 9" x 9", signed, edition of 3

Born in 1965 in Kiev, Ukraine, Vadim Tuzov grew up in a small village outside of Kiev known there for its large forests, extensive wildlife and horse breeding. He spent a lot of time working in collaboration with other Irish artists and in recent years he became a freelance sculptor, taking on private commissions and exhibiting his own work. His sculptures are located in many gardens and private collections in Ireland and many countries of Western and Eastern Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The inspiration for Vadim's work stretches back to a childhood fascination with wild animals and their farm cousins. His bronze wildlife sculptures illustrate natural moments of animal life through his own interpretation.

  • Please note: Each lot will close numerically. If there is late bidding the time may be extended which could delay subsequent lots.

In order to allow rival bidders the opportunity to respond to a late bid the following extensions will apply:
IF A BID IS RECEIVED IN THE FINAL 45 SECONDS OF THE COUNTDOWN THE CLOCK WILL RESET TO 60 SECONDS.

At any point you can leave a maximum bid, representing the highest price you are prepared to pay for a particular lot. Bidding only advances when there is competition from a rival bidder. In that case the system bids on your behalf, only up to the maximum if required. All bids are relayed to you be email, along with notification if you have been outbid.

All maximum bids are confidential and not disclosed. The system will endeavor to purchase the lot for you for the least price. Bids are subject to buyer’s premium of 25% (incl vat), with no additional charges.

For the upcoming Christmas Auction on December 9th, the lots will commence closing at 6pm. Lot 1 will close at 6pm with each subsequent lot closing at 45 second intervals.

In the event of a tied bid, the preference will be given to the bid submitted first. The second bidder will receive immediate notification of being outbid.
