Grace Henry HRHA, 1868-1953 ACHILL COTTAGES Oil on canvas, 15'' x 18'' (38 x 46cm), signed. Provenance: Ex Collection James Creed Meredith. Meredith was an Irish nationalist of the early 20th century, who upheld Brehon Law. He was President of the Supreme Court of Ireland, Chief Judicial Commissioner of Ireland and a Judge of the High Court and the Supreme Court of Ireland. His is the grandfather of the sculptor Rowan Gillespie.
